We were invited out to lunch at the Ship In Levington so I decided to try the river again as there was some west in the forecast and I was abit short on time.I just read a blog on http://www.lbws.com.au/lb07/ (A longboard site - I know it's abit sad but I love my mega cat) about what top speeds people have got from their longboards and some have recorded 32 and 34 knots which is really flying for board so big.It made my top l/board speed of 24.7 really slow so I decided to give it a real go today and rigged my 7.5 with the wind gusting up to 28mph and was amazed to record my 3 fastest runs since I got the gps of 29.6,31.8 and 32.So a good hour and a half on the water in really mild weather.no hat and gloves - a good start to the year !!!!
